Introduction

Recognizing the uniqueness of every individual and empathizing with the struggles they face on their path to healing of mind, body, and spirit, I diligently pursue additional training in therapeutic modalities. This commitment enables me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client I serve. With a deep understanding of the effects of trauma on the heart, body, and mind, I am keenly aware of how these experiences can significantly influence the dynamics of relationships. Drawing upon expertise and discernment, I equip individuals and couples with tools and resources to help them on a journey of healing. On this journey you can find healing from past wounds, uncover solutions for present challenges, and acquire essential skills for a future filled with healthy, emotional intimacy, and effective communication. I have a passion for counseling people who have been victims of Sexual Trauma, and those who have Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), low self-esteem, and shame. I have had the privilege of closely collaborating with and receiving training from Dr. Roger Boehm D.C.C PH.D., a specialist in DID and SRA therapies. Driven by a passion to empower individuals to overcome the "ashes" of life and embrace a life of abundance, in my late 40s I embarked on a transformative journey of my own and returned to college. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in counseling and then Magna Cum Laude with an MA in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary. I have 27 years of teaching, mentoring, public speaking, youth, and women's ministry, as well as layman and professional counseling and coaching experience. I wrote an in-depth curriculum to help people find their Spiritual Gifts and use them in and outside the Church. This curriculum is set to be published as an interactive workbook in March 2024. I believe my passion for my work shines through every interaction, in a trauma-informed and attachment-centered approach, I help clients find hope and restoration moving from a life of surviving to thriving. www.MelonyKolody.com
