Introduction

Sometimes you know something is wrong and you can't figure out what to do to get things back on track. Working with a family therapist who knows how to work with kids or adults on their level, understands just how hard relationships can be, and is able to engage everyone in working towards solutions can empower you to get to your goals. As a licensed Family Therapist, I value, include, and support family members in all my work, offering parenting, parent-child, sibling and family sessions appropriate to reaching and maintaining therapeutic goals. I am an experienced play therapist and family therapist teaching and supervising graduate students and early career professionals. I maintain credentials as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, an American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I hold certifications in multiple areas, and exceed requirements for continuing education in my field. Through innovative brain-informed therapy, I help children, parents, families, and couples discover strengths, uncover new options, and develop new tools in relationships that have become more challenging than joyful. Imagine how life could be different if you weren’t stuck in the same old patterns! Let’s sit down together and discuss the struggles you’ve been facing so that I can help you find your way to solutions. Today can be the day things start to change. After we speak on the phone for a free consultation, use my convenient online scheduling to book appointments at my West Knoxville office. I look forward to walking alongside you in helping things improve for your family.
