Melodie received her Master of Art’s in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University Purdue University Columbus. Melodie has experience working with trauma, behavioral issues, family relationship conflicts, trauma informed care, depression, anxiety, and is currently working towards certification in EMDR. She believes every person has hidden strengths that need just a little nudge to be revealed. Melodie is enthusiastic about increasing accessibility to mental health care and reducing the stigma of being involved in mental health treatment. Melodie believes that therapy sessions can and should be adapted to fit the client needs in anyway possible. Everyone deserves a safe, non-judgmental place to feel heard.
