Hi, my name is Melissa and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Ohio. I have been a practicing clinician for 3 years and have worked in a variety of settings including alternative school, child and adult psychiatric units, private practice, and substance abuse and recovery. Throughout my career, I have connected with many individuals who felt life was overwhelming and needed more support for their mental health. With this in mind, I began the journey to start my own private practice: Sunflower Therapy Services. The sunflower to me has always been a sign of love, hope, promise, and joy. With this in mind, my mission in my practice is to bring more of these emotions to my client's lives. At this time, my practice is virtual and self-pay only. I work with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, adoption and foster care, relationships, and more.
