Often times life can be difficult, creating coping patterns that work for a while but slowly take away from our wellness. Asking for help can be hard when you feel hopeless to do anything to change. Whether it is feelings of anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, substance use, distorted body image, eating related struggles, life transitions, low self-esteem, or symptoms related to complex trauma, therapy can help gain insight, identify what isn’t working for you, and develop appropriate coping skills for life's challenges. You don’t have to do it alone. Whether in person or by video, you will be met with warmth and empathy as we work together. Based on individual needs, I use an eclectic mix of Working from a Jungian (Depth) Psychology, somatic psychotherapy, evidenced based practices such s EMDR & CBT, mindfulness, dreamwork, images, active imagination and myth to support healing and growth. My holistic approach works well with all types of people including: self-doubters, high-achievers, trauma survivors, perfectionists, and those seeking personal growth, or a respite from the public spot light. I approach the therapeutic relationship with warmth, empathy and perspective from a self-examined life. Working on reinforcing strengths, teaching regulation skills and increasing resilience for positive experiences we work to overcome obstacles, tapping into inner wisdom and ultimately achieving improved overall mental health. I am a naturally curious person who reads many books, attends trainings in self-discovery and therapeutic practices, enjoys being in nature, practices and taught Ashtanga Yoga, and experienced therapy as a helpful tool in my own life.All my lived experiences, including career changes from interior design to serving as an executive in the modeling industry, helped me find my inner voice and become my authentic self as a therapist.
