Introduction

True Counseling Services, PLLC provides virtual appointments for all scheduled appointments. The goal of True Counseling Services is to create a trusting relationship with clients to identify, process and work through identified issues, learning to implement coping skills for sustainable use independently of therapy sessions. At this time we have two clinicians, Melissa True and Sherri Sauers. Melissa is a licensed LCSW in TX, FL, CA, ME, NJ, VA, WV, MA, SC, CO, NV & Washington DC. Melissa additionally has certifications of CTMH CCATP & CCTP. Melissa graduated from the University of Maine in 2008 & from the University of Southern Maine in 2012. She has experience with all populations and ages in all settings. Sherri is an Army veteran and she completed her Master’s in Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. She resides in Temple, Texas with her family. Sherri works with adults ages 18+. Sherri uses evidenced based practices and tends to lead her clients with therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy and solution-focused therapy. Sherri has experience in hospital based social work, long term care, inpatient settings, and hospice/home health. Sherri is kind, energetic and personable. She is easy to talk to and she has a great skill of making people feel comfortable while talking about uncomfortable things. *Please note when scheduling an appointment a credit card is required. This is to hold your appointment and any fees that are not covered by insurances. All intake paperwork must be completed at a minimum 4 hours before your scheduled appointment. If the forms are not completed, the appointment will be canceled and the full session fee will be charged. All no-show appointments or appointments canceled within 24 hours of scheduled appointments will be charged as the full fee. This is all reviewed in the intake paperwork*
