Introduction

I currently hold a Master of Arts in Counseling (MA) from Wake Forest University. I also hold a Master of Science (MS) Degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as Adolescent Literacy from Concordia University. My two decades as an educator combined with my training as a counselor have given me a unique insight into an area of children’s and adolescents’ lives that many parents and adults do not normally understand or get to witness. I am also the single mother to a teenage son and the fur-mom to a houseful of cats and 2 heathen dogs. Verified by Psychology Today
