I see the counseling process as a journey of exploration and realization which ultimately leads to healing, connection, and purposeful living. I believe that people need to feel valued and heard and then given the necessary resources to move forward and engage life more confidently and hopeful. As a counselor, my role is to come alongside individuals and families to recognize what’s contributing to an undesired state of being, identify what they want and is possible, and then guide them with effective frameworks and practical tools to achieve their desired outcome. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I operate from multiple theoretical perspectives including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and Coherence Therapy. My Masters Degree is in Mental Health Counseling. I have been married for 10+ years and have two active and creative elementary-age boys. In my personal time, I enjoy celebrating my boys in their respective sporting events, engaging my family and friends in board games, watching a good drama, and spending quality time with my husband.
