Melissa Freymann, LGPC

Mrs. Freymann received a BA from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. She is passionate about healing interpersonal relationships and helping people flourish. She works with adolescents through elderly, couples, and families. Mrs. Freymann has experience providing individual and group therapy, and consults for marriage retreats that integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She sees clients at St. John the Evangelist, Our Lady of the Fields, Virtually and at Severna Park nursing homes. Sessions are available by request. Additional certifications: EFT externship with ICEEFT, Green Cross Traumatology Level 3, and Mental Health First Aid instructor for Military, Higher Ed, Youth and Adult. She is a Region 4 representative for the Catholic Psychotherapy Association, and is a member of the American Counseling Association and the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy. Mrs. Freymann has been active in several organizations involving youth, leadership, women, coaching running, and the Baltimore Archdiocesan Mental Wellness Working Group. She has been featured on the podcast Speakin’ with the Deacons and speaks at retreats, conferences, parent groups, and youth events. She offers consultation services and therapeutic support at special events. Mrs. Freymann is supervised by Jessie Tappel, LCPC. Mrs. Freymann does not accept insurance but can provide a Superbill for you to submit. Check with your insurance to see if they accept out-of-network providers.
