Introduction

You've been "adulting" for a while, but for some reason, it's starting to feel really hard. On the outside, you try to appear as if you have it all together, but deep down you know how you really feel. You may be feeling like: You're on your top of your "A game" at work, but your home life is in shambles. Maybe you're beginning to fall apart at work too, and all you can think about is how to get through the day. You find yourself procrastinating or avoiding difficult decisions because you're afraid of messing up big time. Maybe you have a hard time saying no. You're already overwhelmed with your own responsibilities, yet you find yourself taking on more than you can handle. You're experiencing an immense amount of stress, you can't even think straight and your body is screaming for some relief. Sometimes you feel unnoticed or unheard, leaving you with a sense of feeling alone. You wonder if you will ever get a chance to feel understood. You've realized that the demands of your career and personal life leave you feeling overwhelmed, and you want this to change. However, fear of the unknown keeps you stuck in this cycle of anxiety, self-doubt, and chronic stress. Feelings of uncertainty for adults in their 20s, 30s and even 40s are not uncommon. Excessive stress caused by work, relationships, and life transitions can sometimes leave you feeling defeated. What if you started to make some changes today that could lead to some relief? What if a year from now, your life looks more aligned with what you value? THERAPY PROCESS: As a therapist, I help overwhelmed professionals in their 20s to 30-somethings who want to feel more calm and confident in themselves, their relationships, and their careers. As your therapist, I create a safe space for you to be heard and to express your feelings without judgment. I will guide you towards learning skills that help you to identify and change unhealthy thinking and behavior patterns, develop self-assuredness to communicate effectively and learn to set healthy boundaries. We will work together to develop solutions that help you to manage issues such as overthinking, procrastination, self-doubt/low self-esteem, anxiety, isolation, fatigue, burnout, sleep issues, and workplace stress. With these tools, you will feel empowered to embrace your true values and regain control over your life. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: My professional experience includes 9 years of counseling people from various backgrounds who have struggled with depression, anxiety and panic disorders, trauma, chronic stress, anger issues, adjusting to disability and career changes. I've also done my own personal work to overcome challenges that I've experienced. I believe that therapy is a valuable investment to becoming a healthier version of you. Contact me today for a free 20 minute consultation to see if we are able to work together. I look forward to supporting you.
