Introduction

Making the decision to seek out therapy can be difficult. I believe everyone has the capacity to create change within themselves and their lives and that therapy is an avenue for support in doing so. I will work with you to create a safe, comfortable space free of judgment to explore all parts of yourself and whatever may be bringing you to therapy. You can expect a warm, direct presence, compassion, and accountability in each session with me as we work together to meet your therapy goals. If you’re struggling in your day to day life or relationships, I can help you find your grounding and ultimately a way forward. Please reach out to me via phone, email, or direct scheduling if you think I may be the right fit for you and we can get to know each other further. I specialize in working with people dealing with stress related to transitions, which includes: || High Conflict Families || Individuals and families who are moving through separation, divorce, coparenting, estrangement, and court involvement need and deserve experienced, specialized care from a therapist who is able to hold space and walk with you through the complexities of these changes and the associated stress and conflict. I'd be honored to be that therapist for you and your family. || Parents || Are you struggling with the transition to parenthood? Conflict between yourself and your partner? Your family? Maybe you have a child struggling with their own mental health? I can help you understand what's going on, find what you need to cope, and then create a plan to move forward in your relationships with confidence in your parenting. || Gender Identity || Whether you are in the early stages of exploring identity and what gender means for you or fully grounded in what your gender identity means to you, but finding relationships, transitioning, or social pressures stressful, I can help create a space to safely explore the nuances of what is bringing you to therapy. I am also able to provide written letters in support of gender affirming medical care. ---- || About Me || I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been providing therapy since graduation from my masters program in 2015. I have provided therapy to hundreds of clients on a wide variety of issues in the home, the office, and virtually. My experience has ranged from high intensity crisis level care to maintenance level outpatient care with everything in between and has included people from 5 years old to 80 years old. The majority of my practice has been in working with individuals and families with children on issues related to life transitions and resulting stress. I have received specific training in: trauma-sensitive practices including EMDR and TF-CBT, complex family systems including those with high conflict and court involvement, separation/divorce, suicidal ideation, self-harm, harm reduction, working with transgender and gender nonconforming people, Theraplay, Prepare/Enrich premarital, couples and sex, and culturally competent care. I am a cisgendered female and a parent to two young children. I feel strongly about being an ally and giving voice to those in marginalized communities. In my free time, I love spending time outside, traveling, doing yoga, and being with friends and family. || Fees || I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans. Private pay allows for increased flexibility and confidentiality in our work together. If you would like to submit billing information to your insurance company for out of network benefits, I am happy to provide you with the necessary paperwork and will support you in seeking insurance payment. All session fees are collected at time of service and are accepted via cash, check, HSA/FSA, and credit card. I also offer a financial hardship rate; please inquire for details.
