Introduction

My counseling approach is informed by deep respect for individuals and their strengths. I can help you to effectively face challenges that arise during transitions and periods of high stress. We collaborate to help you to move forward on your path to self-growth and change. Clients find relief from anxiety, obsessive thinking, compulsive behavior, interpersonal stress, career change, depression and "feeling stuck." Specialties include trauma/PTSD, stress reduction, couple/partner interaction and communication, and family-of-origin issues (including families affected by substance abuse). Approaches include Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness Based Relationship Enhancement, EMDR/Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDRIA Certified Therapist), Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed through IFSCA, Attachment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and biofeedback (HRV). Years of mind/body clinic experience with chronic illness, grief/loss. I have worked with college students, faculty, and staff since 2004. Also trained in workplace challenges and conflict resolution (mediator, ombuds). Telehealth and in person. Regardless of the situation, it is a privilege to collaborate with clients to enhance their quality of life.
