Introduction

Melina Teichow, licensed professional counselor, working with adults, teens and children. I see individuals, families and couples. Started my career working at a behavioral school with children who have severe mental health concerns, and moved to working in private practice. I specialize in trauma, crisis management, attachment, change of life concerns, and behavioral concerns. I use an eclectic approach, including cognitive behavioral therapy , rational emotive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness. I love challenging client’s to be present, and strengthen the mind-body connection. I absolutely love counseling, building relationships and hearing YOUR story.
