I work from a person-center lens and my goal is to provide support and validation to all. People struggling with mental health are more than their diagnosis, and treatment empowers you to believe in your own recovery. You are the expert on you and I am here to help provide you the tools and guidance to be the best you. I provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy to those struggling with eating and co-morbid disorders, as well as work with people to challenge their eating disorders and other ways you’ve coped using behaviors you'd like to work on, in a safe and inclusive environment. Human connection is important, and everyone can connect on some level. Realizing my own need for therapy in the past helped me to understand it is ok to be scared. It is ok to want to be the best, be anxious, be excited, and be scared all at the same time. Be patient with yourself. It’s ok not to know things. You will grow so much from your own experience, and therapy can help with that. You will become more confident. Trust the journey. Ask questions. Be vulnerable with people that you trust. Be yourself. I say again - Trust the process, because it works.
