Introduction

Unhealed events from our past can cause problems in our lives until we tend to the parts of ourselves that have been hurt. I believe we all have an innate capacity for healing and that therapy is about more than diagnoses and symptom management. My specialty is working with survivors of trauma. I work to create a supportive and healing relationship with each individual and ensure all of my clients feel heard and respected. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and neurodiversity affirming. I am a Certified EMDR therapist and I am accepting new clients for EMDR psychotherapy. EMDR is an evidenced based treatment approach that is effective for a range of trauma-related disorders and life challenges such as low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loneliness, grief, anxiety, chronic pain, depression, and addictions.
