Introduction

I work with quarter-lifers (ages 18-39) in San Francisco and throughout California who want to heal their relationship with food, feel satisfied in their relationships, and find new ways to deal with anxiety and self criticism. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety and perfectionism. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck. For some of them, their eating disorders are making them miserable but they don't know how to stop. For others, their perfectionism and sense of never being good enough makes it difficult to enjoy life. Many of my clients come to me feeling like their anxiety is out of control no matter what they try. All of them come seeking relief. My approach is warm, kind and authentic. I utilize evidence-based treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as a psychodynamic approach. My experience working in higher level of care eating disorder treatment (residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient) for adults and adolescents helps inform my services. I am trained in Family Based Therapy (FBT). Most importantly, I have seen my clients get better and hold hope that you can too. It's okay to not have all the answers. Reach out for help today.
