Introduction

I am a licensed mental health counselor working in the Yakima Valley. A few concerns I work with frequently are: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, PTSD, and OCD. I am a lgbtqia+ affirming therapist. I believe you are the expert of your own life. A session with me typically looks like a warm, safe environment where you feel able to voice your concerns, feel heard and validated. The modalities I utilize the most are cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and exposure response prevention (ERP). I employ a nondirective approach, with your concerns at the heart of our therapy sessions. I generally operate from a strengths based approach to help uplift and empower.
