Life can be overwhelming and stressful--my belief is that therapy can be a safe place to not only process your feelings or frustrations, but a space to problem solve and learn helpful skills or tools to use outside of sessions. Maybe someone is coping with a recent loss, or transition in their life. Maybe they are having difficulty feeling confident and dealing with negative self-talk. Some may also find comfort in addressing unresolved difficulties from the past at a pace that feels comfortable for them, while learning the tools to work through their discomfort. Whatever may be bringing someone to therapy, whether they are new to the process or have experienced therapy previously, I want the work to be collaborative to help each client achieve the level of happiness and peace they deserve. My goal is to show up to each session ready to listen, help a person tackle whatever difficulties they may be facing, and be someone in their corner.
