Megan holds a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. She is training in EMDR and is working towards certification. Megan believes in the importance of prioritizing one’s mental health. She works to cultivate an environment that provides a safe space to allow individuals to foster a strong therapeutic relationship. Her works stems from a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to allow the individual to be the expert in their healing. She integrates EMDR, Somatic Interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches to help navigate intense emotions, life challenges and stressors, and traumatic experiences. Megan identifies as a white cisgender woman, heterosexual, and able-bodied. Outside of work, Megan enjoys exploring Seattle, and keeping her body active through spin classes, dancing, and hiking. Megan enjoys spending quality time with her partner, friends, and family, and loves a good card game. Megan works with older teens (16+) and adults, addressing issues like PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other life stressors/challenges. Megan is in network with First Choice, Kaiser PPO, Premera, Lifewise, Anthem, and other Blue Cross plans (out of network with Regence). Megan sees in person in our Seattle office and online.
