Introduction

Our world and society can be a large contributing factor to our stress; between life stress, relationship stress, world stress, it's hard to handle it all. I want to help with that. I approach mental health with as much empathy as possible, and try to help clients with whatever it is they're struggling with. I have experience working with a variety of mental health issues. I practice being kind to ourselves as we work to learn how to handle it all and how to put some stuff down. I graduate June 2020 with my MA in International Disaster Psychology, from the University of Denver. Graduating into the pandemic and my masters program lead me to practicing Narrative therapy approaches. We can use CBT/ACT tools to help support us, but what's the larger narrative surrounding us? We've all read a book and thought "If only the protagonist didn't have to deal with *this*!" My therapeutic approach is let's explore your "this" and how we can make your narrative easier to navigate. I hope you can leave our weekly sessions feeling a little more confident and assured that you can handle what life throws at you, but also knowing you have a safe space to come next week to let those defenses down and keep learning and growing.
