Megan Dozler is a Counselor, Coach, and Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). Megan’s treatment style combines traditional modalities and creative, experiential approaches. She utilizes a broad range of techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as holistic tools such as DBT-informed Music Therapy. One does not have to be a musician or possess musical talent to benefit from Music Therapy. Megan is adept at helpings clients tap into the thoughts and feelings they may have trouble expressing verbally. This way, clients can explore new pathways to understand themselves and their emotions better. Megan has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Regent University, a Master of Science in Counseling Studies from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Therapy from the University of the Pacific. Megan is currently pursuing licensure (LPCC). She is a certified Health & Life Coach and utilizes her skills in various settings. Megan has worked in private practice and as a part of interdisciplinary clinical teams. She has applied her talent to clients from every age group and background, from teens and young children to adults, military veterans, and elderly clients in assisted living facilities. Megan is committed to helping her clients access their creativity and facilitate meaningful change. She believes nurturing the connection between mind, body, and spirit is essential to improving physical, emotional, and mental health. She strives to guide each client she works with toward this place of healing and harmony.
