Hello and welcome! I am a trauma- informed, somatic psychotherapist and my mission is to help create a world in which we all have the space to feel held + free at the same time. I hold space for folks (adults and kids) who are navigating anxiety, chronic stress, grief, trauma and loss. I particularly love to work with the grown ups of elementary school aged kiddos to support them maintain loving, flexible and boundary-ed containers for their households during challenging seasons of life. I also work with couples, including parent- child dyads and romantic partners. My approach to clinical practice is grounded in neuroscience and evidence based theory, but inspired by holistic practices like yoga psychology, mindfulness meditation, somatic movement and nervous system de-armoring. Research has shown time and again that the body truly does keep the score- meaning that bringing the body online into the therapy space is often essential to begin the path of healing. My intention is to walk right alongside you, as you unravel the layers of life that influence the deepest facets of your being, through a trauma informed and human centered lens. You have full autonomy, agency and choice as we co-create a brave and resilient space where all parts of you are welcome. Know that healing is never a linear path, and there is no “right” way to engage in therapy.
