My name is Megan Dami, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing in the field for the past 6 years as a counselor but have been working in the field of mental health for the over past decade in various settings. My practice, Seeking Peace Counseling, focuses on the individual and their own unique needs of finding peace through any life struggles or mental health issues that they are experiencing. By blending different theories and techniques (such as client-centered, CBT, and, psychodynamic, to name a few), the focus is to help the individual get to and maintain a healthier, more peaceful life and obtain their goals, and most importantly, feel heard and understood for what they are experiencing. I provide in-person and virtual sessions and am working on expanding into equine-assisted psychotherapy as another helpful modality for individuals with trauma specifically through accredited organizations in the field.
