Introduction

So happy you are here! My name is Megan Cerney, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (AKA a new friend who is outside of your circle). I have been helping clients in Texas and Ohio for the past five years. I know it can be hard to be vulnerable, but I promise you will feel comfortable, safe, and judgment-free in my care. Therapy is for everyone and can benefit you, your family, your relationships, and your daily life. I have lived through many experiences that allow me to understand many situations at a certain level. Let's take back your happiness and move your life to where you want to be; free, joyful, and content. I am a subject matter expert in Complex Trauma (PTSD), Sex Therapy, and grief recovery. To treat trauma, I use EMDR and CPT modalities. I am trained in Couples Therapy using the Gottman Method and Depression/Anxiety using CBT. I offer long-term therapy using narrative/psychodynamic therapy. I can assign homework/book recommendations or we do it all together. More about me: I am a mom, sister, USAF Veteran, and friend. I love my job, I love learning new skills, books are my way of escaping, plants bring me joy, I love color all around me, I like to paint, FRIENDS show fanatic, tattoos let me express my life journey, thrift/antique shopping are my best days, and I'm obsessed with vintage lamps.
