Greetings! I am a dedicated and compassionate counselor with a firm belief in the power of a flexible and integrative approach to therapy. My goal is to tailor sessions to the unique needs and objectives of each individual, meeting them where they are on their journey. In my practice, creating a nurturing and understanding environment is paramount. I'm committed to helping individuals discover their inherent strengths and fostering curiosity about their lives and thought patterns, all while building a foundation of self-compassion. I am deeply committed to helping individuals navigate addiction and addictive behaviors, working to uncover the underlying patterns that contribute to these challenges while addressing co-occurring mental health concerns. I have a particular passion in supporting adults on the autism spectrum, empowering them to navigate life, build meaningful relationships, and leverage their unique strengths. Additionally, I provide support for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, difficulties with communication, emotion expression and regulating and significant life transitions and adjustments. Currently, I lead a recovery process group dedicated to supporting those on their journey to recovery. I received my masters of science from Drake University in 2015 and became a License mental health counselor. I have completed specialized training in treating addiction and problem gambling and became a certified drug and alcohol counselor in 2019. For me, there is no greater honor than accompanying individuals on their counseling journey. I am devoted to illuminating a path of recovery and offering a secure space for exploration and growth. Feel free to send me a secure message with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
