Introduction

I have been counseling adults for four years now in a private practice setting in addition to having worked in the university setting. I enjoy helping individuals dealing with anxiety, adult ADHD, processing childhood trauma, and those experiencing big life transitions. I gained a greater understanding for stages of human development while teaching Spanish for 15 years in various academic settings to students aging across the life span from kindergarten to adult. I have a genuine interest in learning and connecting with others. I strive for authenticity, acceptance, awareness, autonomy, compassion, and a growth mindset for myself and for my clients. While techniques and modalities may vary depending on the client's goals, I first and foremost, strive to create for all clients a therapeutic environment centered upon safety, empathy, trust, and respect.
