Introduction

Hi, I’m Meg, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Tennessee. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee at Martin (2017) and a Master of Science in Social Work from Union University (2019). In addition to my social work background, I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 25 years, giving me a well-rounded perspective on mental health and wellness. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, gaining extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, domestic violence, grief, and anger management. I am currently accepting new child and adult clients for in-person sessions as well as through telehealth/virtual appointments. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered, tailored to your unique needs, concerns, and strengths. I utilize evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy (BSFT). My goal is to help you identify barriers, develop healthier coping skills, and foster independence. Together, we can work toward building confidence, enhancing resilience, and creating meaningful change. I look forward to supporting you on your journey!
