Introduction

Parenthood is challenging and the road to becoming one can be equally so. Maybe you are pregnant or postpartum and wondering why this feels so hard. Perhaps you are parenting toddlers or older kids and asking yourself when it gets easier. Maybe you have experienced pregnancy or infant loss and are still grieving. You might be experiencing infertility and feeling hopeless. Maybe you're an immigrant and miss having your village of support. Whatever stage of this journey you are on, you might feel stuck, resentful and even blindsided by depression, anxiety or trauma. I have extensive training in trauma and reproductive mental health. I hold the PMH-C certification from Postpartum Support International and am also trained in perinatal EMDR, a form of therapy that can drastically reduce symptoms of trauma, anxiety and depression. I have a multi-modal, holistic style and am aligned with the health at every size approach. I realize all these acronyms and theraspeak can be confusing. Essentially, you are in the drivers seat; treatment plans and goals are tailored to your individual needs and strengths. As an immigrant mom, I realize how challenging parenting can be, and I'm here to offer support and acceptance. I am caring and compassionate and I'd be honored to work with you.
