Introduction

Is your experience with pregnancy and postpartum not what you imagined? Has motherhood taken you by surprise? Have you found getting pregnant harder than you thought? I'm Medha aka The Brown Therapist Mama and I support women like you who are finding the reproductive and parenting journey harder than expected. If you're navigating infertility, have had a stressful pregnancy, experienced birth trauma or a loss, you are in the right space for healing. I can help navigate difficult times during your reproductive years from preconception to motherhood and beyond. It doesn't have to be so hard and you deserve to feel better. You deserve relief and hope. I am certified in perinatal mental health and in EMDR, an evidence-based treatment that can drastically reduce distress associated with trauma, grief, depression and anxiety. I have extensive experience working with women on all stages of their reproductive journey, from preconception to perimenopause. My style is compassionate, holistic and nonjudgmental. As a brown immigrant mom and PPD survivor, I have personal experience of how difficult this time can be. I offer culturally-sensitive therapy in a nurturing environment. I don't believe in cookie cutter treatments; your care is tailored to your needs. If you're new to therapy or need more information, contact me to book a FREE 15 min consultation.
