I am honored to be able to provide therapy for individuals and couples throughout North Carolina. With over 12 years of experience, I am dedicated to practicing with the utmost integrity in order to create a safe, collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship. I work from a strength-based and client-centered stance that focuses on helping my clients create healthy and holistic relationships with themselves and others. To quote Brene Brown, I believe that "owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do” and my job is to walk with you and guide you through that process. I hold a BA in Psychology from ECU and a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University, a COAMFT accredited program. I have completed the Level 1 and Level 2 Training for EMDR and use it in sessions. I have also completed my RYT-200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and often use breath-work, mindfulness, meditation & yoga in my sessions. In my practice, I position myself as an equal and work from a place of intuition, vulnerability, curiosity and education. I see each person who comes to me as having a unique story, not someone to be "fixed", but someone to guide towards healing. I would love to help you find joy in living an authentic life, to know who you are and feel that you are enough.
