Meagan holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Cedarville University and a Masters Degree in Counseling Ministries from Clarks Summit University. A licensed professional counselor (LPC), Meagan has experience working with adolescents, individuals, couples and families. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Meagan has worked in community and church settings providing counseling since 2005 through in-home counseling, parent-child evaluations, parent skills training, therapeutic visitation and outpatient counseling. Meagan believes that everyone should have a safe space to work through life's challenges. She provides supportive solution focused counseling to help people to move forward in their lives feeling empowered and positive. She utilizes various counseling approaches including Christian counseling, CBT, narrative therapy, DBT, mindfulness strategies, and solution-focused techniques. Meagan currently works with teenage girls 13+, women, and couples counseling. Meagan lives locally with her husband, three sons, and their dog. Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from James Madison University. Lauren has experience working with children, adolescents, at-risk youth, individuals, families, and groups. She has worked extensively in the court systems doing custody evaluations, parent child evaluations, and providing expert witness testimony. She has also worked in the school system doing suicide assessments, groups, and counseling. She desires to assist in the improvement of her client’s overall functioning and well-being by utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, dialectical behavior therapy techniques, solution focused interventions, and Christian counseling. She believes the most important component to effective therapy is her relationship with her clients, so she approaches each person with compassion, understanding, encouragement, and acceptance. In her personal life, she understands what it is like to watch loved one’s struggle with medical issues and the demands of being a caretaker. She knows life can be a struggle but believes we do not have to struggle alone. She seeks to bring clarity, hope, and healing to her clients.
