McKenna founded The LiveWell Collective with a heartfelt mission to support children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), behavioral challenges, and co-occurring conditions. Her vision was to build something intentional, rooted in clinically sound care, but also deeply personal. The name “LiveWell Collective” reflects the heart of that vision: learning how to live well with a mental health diagnosis. McKenna utilizes therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help her clients develop the tools and strategies to manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in healthy and effective ways while simultaneously working closely with parents to help them learn how to best support their child during the therapeutic process and beyond. In treating OCD and anxiety, McKenna relies heavily on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients gradually face their fears, lean into uncertainty, and reduce safety behaviors like reassurance seeking, checking, and ritualizing—empowering them to build confidence and flexibility in the face of their worries and intrusive thoughts. McKenna enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families to improve communication, identify feelings, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and increase emotional regulation. Taking a collaborative and specialized approach is essential to McKenna, as she aims to tailor treatment plans to address each child and family’s specific needs and goals. McKenna encourages her clients to take an active role in their treatment and provide the tools and strategies they need to move toward living happier, healthier, and more engaging lives. McKenna is passionate about approaching mental health care in a collaborative, values-driven way. Every child and family she works with receives a treatment plan tailored to their unique goals, strengths, and circumstances. She cares deeply about creating space where clients feel understood, where change is possible, and where hope is never out of reach.
