Introduction

Live with Purpose Counseling is a Christian Licensed Mental Health Practice that provides virtual therapy for children, adolescents, adults and families. I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, stress, suicidal ideation, grief/loss, self-esteem issues, bullying, trauma, relationship conflicts and school problems. I also facilitate workshops to community organizations, churches, schools and other organizations/companies. The workshops range from a variety of mental health topics and tools to improve your life. It is hard being a young person in today’s society, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I am committed to giving you the tools you need to experience a positive self-concept, build positive relationships and strengthen belief in the future. The world needs individuals with purpose! As a parent you want to do what is best for your children. Knowing what is best and how to connect with your child, however, can be tough to navigate in these complex times. The pandemic had really brought to light how different life is now and how challenging it can be to navigate it, as compared to when we were growing up. Connecting with your child on a daily basis may seem difficult and at times impossible. But there is always hope and as we work together, we can work towards strengthening your connections within your family. I want to help you and your family live with purpose. The world needs more of that as well. Call for a free consultation! Hi! My name is Mayra A. Rivas-Rocha and I am the Founder of Live with Purpose Counseling, PLLC. I obtained my Masters of Social Work and Masters of Public Health from the University of Michigan in 2017. I speak English and Spanish fluently. On my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, volunteering at my church, running, going to thrift stores and watching funny YouTube videos. I look forward to working with you!
