I have over four years experience as a therapist at a domestic and sexual violence agency, serving clients from diverse backgrounds with high levels of trauma and crisis. As a therapist from a community significantly impacted by wildfire, I have direct experience with the impact and effects of natural disaster. I believe in a collaborative approach, working with each client to develop a therapeutic style to meet their unique needs. I work to evoke my client's innate capacity for healing, utilizing Internal Family Systems as a framework to understand the impact of a clients experiences, while utilizing attachment-based modalities to provide the safety and security necessary for challenging therapeutic work. I have a broad range of interventions and tools to provide structured support when needed. After my own experience as a client in therapy, I discovered a strong desire to help others as I had been helped. I know the courage it takes to show up as a client and what a difference it can make to have someone as a support and guide on the challenging journey of healing. I hope to be that guide for you.
