My journey to becoming a therapist began as a school counselor in the K-12 education system. Growing up in a single-parent household, I became deeply aware of the challenges often faced during childhood and the lasting impact these experiences can have on families and adulthood. As a school counselor, I built meaningful relationships and recognized the value of holding space for individuals with diverse needs. These experiences inspired me to expand my work and engage more directly with individuals in a clinical setting, with the hope of fostering healing and growth while addressing the unique needs of each person. My approach is grounded in building strong therapeutic relationships where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to be your authentic self. With a deep commitment to inclusivity and multicultural sensitivity, I strive to create a supportive space for self-exploration and personal growth. My goal is to help you navigate life’s complexities with compassion, respect, and understanding, ensuring that diverse identities and experiences are honored every step of the way.
