Introduction

My clients have described me as approachable, compassionate, & non-judgmental. My goal is to help you explore & process unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior while learning new healthy ways to regulate your emotions, communicate with others, & to stand firm in your decision-making. Depending on your needs & goals, I may incorporate evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, & Motivational Interviewing. I am trained in EMDR with focus on maladaptive attachment, meaning I help you to uncover & clear negative beliefs you might have developed from memories & previous traumatic experiences. I have experience working with adults & adolescents with concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, mood & personality disorders, confidence/self-esteem, trauma, grief/loss, & substance/alcohol abuse. I also have a passion supporting clients struggling with gender identity & sexual orientation concerns to navigate associated challenges.
