Introduction

OPEN TO NEW CLIENTS Welcome. I specialize in working with first responders to address post traumatic stress, job burnout, and finding purpose and connection to both nature and community. I am certified in nature therapy, and tend to use nature connection and grounding to lower stress and process trauma. Our modern lifestyle is inherently stressful. So, oftentimes clients find that therapy involves finding ways to adjust their lifestyle to reduce stress and increase a sense of wellbeing. OUR WORK TOGETHER: You may have a good idea of why you are seeking help. You may not, but simply sense that things could be better, or different. Either way, we will start by helping you identify tangible goals for our work. Those goals may change over time, and that is OK. Your role is to actively engage with the work, and be ready for the challenge of growth. My role is to support your therapy process. This can look many different ways. I tend towards focusing, highlighting, and growing your strengths. I also value grounding our work into scientifically supported tools and perspectives. I appreciate the clarity that structure provides. THE PROCESS: Therapy is dynamic. There is no script for what change looks like. That said, a typical trajectory is for us to begin by getting to know your world in the areas that are related to your goals. What is important to your growth, that which needs to emerge, will tend to rise to the surface. Some of this you will already know, some will be new to both of us. As change occurs, you will probably begin to feel as if you have found what you needed, that it is time to move on. At that point, we will begin to close out the current phase of your work. THERAPY FEES: Individual, 50 minute, therapy sessions are $95. Sessions may be billed in full automatically up to 24 hours before the time of service to the credit or debit card on file. Cancellations not made via a secure portal, text, or telephone 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session will be billed a $50 cancellation fee to the credit or debit card on file. CLIENT PORTAL: Active clients have access to the HIPAA-compliant portal, which is the hub for communication between us. I look forward to your visit.
