Introduction

Thank you for visiting my website and allowing me to be a part of your journey. I received my master's degree in clinical social work from The Florida State University and have spent the past 10 years of my life working and serving the mental health community of Jacksonville and Orange Park, Florida. Completing my internships and residencies right her in the Jacksonville area means I am deeply connected to the people who make up our community. I am passionate about helping people explore their true selves and improve their lives through understanding, collaboration, and hard work. Using solution focused techniques, I believe in finding solutions to life's most daunting challenges not just talking about them. I chose the mental health field when I was an EMT in Jacksonville in 2001 and saw how people with mental health challenges were treated by other medical and community providers. Not only is there a stigma attached to seeing a therapist, but also to feeling anxious or depressed; something we all can relate to at some point in our lives. Weather you have seen a therapist before or if this is your first time, I am looking forward to showing you just how amazing it can be to begin a journey of self-exploration with someone who is truly invested in your progress.
