There are so many reasons we may find ourselves struggling with our mental health, whether it be from a traumatic childhood to current life stress. I see clients with a variety of issues but mostly focus on anxiety, depression, stress management, suicidality, and religious trauma. While I respect and value all my clients' personal religious and spiritual backgrounds, I operate from a non-religious standpoint in my counseling process. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I also work with clients on issues surrounding gender and sexuality and consider my office a safe space for others within the community. I also support fat liberation, consensual/ethical non-monogamy, and alternative lifestyles. Sessions with me involve a lot of cognitive processing. That means we'll be talking through your current issues, thoughts, and feelings to come to a better understanding of what's happening, why it's happening, and what we can do about it. This may involve assessments, psychoeducation, and even worksheets or other materials. I offer free 15-30 minute virtual or in-person consultations to see if I would be a good fit for you. Sessions can be virtual or in-person in the downtown Tulsa area. If you are interested in a consult or scheduling an intake appointment, please feel free to reach out and I will contact you as soon as possible. I look forward to working with you!
