I am trained and licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I specialize helping people who experience, depression, anxiety and PTSD. In my clinical experience, I have found that in addition to counseling, integrative methods such as, i.e., breathwork (mindfulness), yoga, exercise and nutrition are essential to getting the best results and overcoming the symptoms you describe. Therefore, in addition to my work in Solution Focus Therapy or Psychodynamic, I am trained in integrative medicine and nutrition. Therapy isn’t one size fits all. We all may have similar experiences, but how we behave and react may not always be the same. It’s important that you feel that you can share your experience with me without judgment. I believe it’s not just our emotional and mental health that is important, but it includes our physical and spiritual health as well, they all have to work together for us to be healthy. I am a Reiki Practitioner and I use energy psychology to help people become more attune to their own energy and how it can affect those around them, not just themselves, and to illicit healing of body and spirit, along with Positive Psychology, I believe we all have the power to make changes and to be the change we wish to become; we just need to get out of our own way and allow the process to happen.
