Introduction

Experience includes psychotherapy and advocacy in community mental health, University settings, and a private group practice centering LGBTQ+ and other marginalized identities. My clinical interest/expertise include body liberation, fat acceptance, religious trauma, relationship issues, mood and anxiety disorders, LGBTQ+ concerns, accessing trans affirmative care, complex trauma, disordered eating, and is poly/kink informed. I am a trauma-informed certified Body Trust Provider and work from Health at Every Size and intuitive eating frameworks. Heavily influenced by queer feminist, multicultural, relational and shame resilience theories. I blend evidenced based modalities based on individual need: DBT, ACT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, harm reduction and expressive therapies. I prioritize a genuine therapeutic relationship in order to create space for clients to explore their authentic selves. I encourage clients to show up messy as they deconstruct perfection performances. I believe in consent based collaborative treatment and utilize client strengths, lived experience, self compassion, and humor to support change and growth.
