In her work and in her life, she values the power of relationship, wholeness, creativity and connection in the healing process. Some of the psychotherapeutic modalities she has studied and utilizes in her counseling include EMDR, ACT, Integrative Breathwork, CBT, humanistic and depth perspectives as well as ERP and deep acceptance. She encourages the deep inner listening and acceptance that facilitate change and growth. Her specialties include supporting people through change and grief, helping people place their life experience in a deeper, broader context, working with people experiencing, or who have experienced, trauma, OCD and/or anxiety and depression. She believes relationships are an integral part of life and specializes in working with people experiencing relationship transitions or people who wish to connect more deeply with themselves and others. Mary Kay also works with people who experience a high degree of empathy and highly sensitive people. She believes it is an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to partner with others in the counseling process and feels it is a gift to witness the human capacity we all have for change, growth, connection and resilience. Mary Kay feels privileged to support people to become more present in their lives, connect deeply with themselves and their values and move toward desired intentions and outcomes.Introduce yourself to prospective clients.
