Introduction

I am a black therapist who concentrates on lived experiences of black women. My practice is Blackcentric, meaing it is safe space for those from the African Diapora. 5% of psychologist are black, as such, while I treat all ethnic groups, it is important to understand that I approach all therapetuic modalities from female global majority perspective. In this space one can heal without censoring thoughts regarding racism. I enjoy working with high goal oriented women with high stress, anxiety and likely experienced childhood T(t)rauma. My clients are women who are pulled together (on the outside) with strong personalities and utilize assertive language, but also suffer with anxiety, depression, resentment, and a critical voice judgement.
