Introduction

Mary-Eugenia Brizuela is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. Mary has over 8 years of experience in the mental health field and has specialized in the treatment of anxiety disorders and obsessive compulsive related disorders over the past 3 and half years at the outpatient level at her private practice. Mary has a passion for treating OCD and the majority of her caseload is made up of people working to overcome OCD symptoms. Mary primarily works with adults 18 and older, however, she often works with teens 14 and older struggling with OCD due to her experience with working with adolescents. She worked at Rogers Behavioral Health in the Anxiety/OCD Intensive Outpatient Program for adults and the Anxiety/OCD Partial Hospitalization Program for children and adolescents where she received extensive supervision and training on providing Exposure and Response Prevention therapy. Mary has also completed training for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and is a member of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF).
