Introduction

Hi, my name is Mary Barber and I have been in the counseling field since 2013. I received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health in 2019. My passion and gift are helping women to uncover and walk in their power. I specialize in treating: depression, anxiety, trauma, church hurt, faith-based counseling, low self-esteem, parenting issues, stress, burnout and couples. I am an eclectic, person-centered therapist with a leaning toward Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. As a graduate of Walden University with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling coupled with my years of experience in a multitude of settings including community mental health, outpatient addiction settings and private practice has equipped me with the skills necessary to nurture meaningful relationships with my clients that successfully result in the change they seek to become the best version of themselves. I look forward in meeting you and walking along side your healing journey with you.
