I am a big believer that we can all benefit from therapy at any point in life. Learning about yourself, examining your own patterns and perspectives, and choosing to care for yourself is always a win. But sometimes, life gets tough and we need support. A loss, a transition, an unwanted surprise, or a slow progression that has become too heavy to carry, are all things we can face together. I have worked extensively with individuals and couples struggling with eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and sexual intimacy. I am passionate about social justice, and believe it is relevant to all conversations related to healing relationships with ourselves and the body. It is my passion to lead clients towards deeper connection and acceptance with their body so that they can get back to living a fuller and more present life than ever before. Body insecurities, criticisms, and injustices are frequently rooted in diet culture and white supremacy’s tight grip on our idea of what beauty should be. Together, we can examine how your relationship with your body has been influenced by past experiences, societal expectations, and day to day stressors. When I’m not practicing therapy, you can find me on a walk with my dogs, practicing or teaching yoga, cooking a new recipe, or in my garden (feeding the chickens)! I would love to connect, talk about your needs, and see if we are a good fit. Please don’t hesitate to book a free 15-minute consultation. I do my best to get back to all inquiries within 48 business hours because I know what it’s like to wait weeks to hear back from help. Let’s get started today!
