Introduction

Navigating high-conflict divorces and complex relationship struggles can leave women feeling overwhelmed, fearful, and filled with self-doubt, uncertain about how to move forward. Some days, it takes all of our strength just to put one foot in front of the other. It’s tempting to operate on autopilot just to push through, thinking, “I’ll process everything later.” We prioritize everyone else above ourselves, especially if we are mothers, and our self-care falls by the wayside. It’s so much easier to focus on everyone else than ourselves. My clients come to me feeling drained, struggling with legal battles, worrying about co-parenting, and anxious about financial instability, while also dealing with self-blame, anxiety, and feelings of being lost. I help them reclaim their sense of self and find balance during this challenging time. Major life changes like divorce can bring anxiety, doubt, and worry, but they also hold opportunities for growth. Staying connected to our authentic selves helps us face these challenges with resilience. As an online counselor in NYC, I can work with you to: -Facilitate healing from the emotional wounds of the relationship, promoting self-reflection and personal growth. -Clarify your personal goals and needs pre and post-divorce, fostering a sense of agency and direction. -Manage prioritization of self-care and the stresses of daily life -Self advocate and step into your own power -Cope with stress, anxiety, depression and related emotional challenges -Embrace calm and find comfort in a world that can feel unsettling and overwhelming -Cultivate a deeper connection with yourself and your relationships If you're uncertain about what exactly you need help with but need someone to explore it with, I’m here to support you. Inspired by my own healing journey, I transitioned from a career in finance to become a therapist who is dedicated to helping women feel grounded and empowered during these tumultuous times. I provide a supportive space to process grief, develop resilience, and build self-advocacy skills in the wake of the dissolution of a relationship. Together, we will work through challenges like co-parenting, identity reclamation, stress management, boundary setting, and navigating this transition with greater calm and confidence. My approach is tailored to help you: -Find your voice by developing assertiveness skills to advocate for yourself with your soon-to-be-ex, or former partner -Heal trauma and emotional wounds through processing the pain of the dissolution of your marriage and separation in a safe, supportive environment -Navigate co-parenting by learning strategies to shield your children from conflict as best you can and maintain their well-being through this difficult period -Reclaim your identity and rediscover who you are outside of your marriage so you can build a vision for your future -Manage stress by acquiring practical tools to handle the day-to-day challenges of your divorce process -Build resilience and develop coping mechanisms to face inevitable setbacks and emerge stronger -Establish and maintain healthy boundaries with your ex-partner -Develop strategies for communicating effectively, even during difficult times If you’re just beginning the divorce process, struggling inside a relationship, or rebuilding afterward, I’m here to help you take the next step. I will guide you in creating a life that reflects your true self, empowering you to move forward with strength and clarity.
