Introduction

As a queer, gender-expansive, and neurodivergent therapist, I deeply empathize with the diverse lived experiences of my clients. If you struggle with issues related to your sexual health, self-doubt, overthinking, being overly self-critical, or people-pleasing, then we might be a good fit. My approach is warm and emphasizes the pursuit of pleasure, self-compassion, and is rooted in mindfulness. I'm affirming of all identities, relationship structures, and am a kink-aware clinician. I’m passionate about helping queer and trans folks unlearn values of cisgender/heteronormative culture, discover repressed desires, and embrace self-kindness. I acknowledge that the mental health field has a long history of oppressing the queer and trans community. I’m committed to decolonizing therapy practices and strive to minimize power dynamics by recognizing you the expert, rather than assuming that role myself. I remain mindful of my own limitations and consistently work to confront my personal biases. I tailor treatment to meet your individualized needs and hope by the end of our work together, you will develop pride in your most authentic self and confidently move through anxieties. The styles I pull from most often are CBT, DBT, ACT, and Feminist Therapy. I have a deep appreciation for the lived experiences of my clients and am grateful you’re here.
