At Bayou Acadiana Counseling, LLC, I aspire to create a safe, collaborative and compassionate environment that supports growth, faith, self-awareness, and healing. I specialize in finding solutions to complex marriage, family, and personal life challenges. I especially have a passion for working with adolescents / teenagers to develop coping skills to life’s challenges and helping parents navigate the journey of children with ADHD. I believe hardships and difficulties are fertile soil for self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. As the seeds of health and healing are within each of us, I aim to provide my clients with a highly personalized approach, through an in-person or tele-health, environment. Individually tailoring my consultation with your needs, I provide the tools and support to allow for growth in a safe, non-judgmental, and understanding manner. My approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your life; therefore, my goal is to assist you in working through your own struggles and self-discovery. In partnership, you and I will discuss and implement skills and strategies to meet your personal needs and goals utilizing client-centered and solution focused therapies. My years of education, professional experience, and clinical skills enable me to walk with you in your struggle through varying difficulties, including but not limited to, adjustment to life changes, parenting struggles, anxiety, depression, anger management, family or relationship conflict, co-dependency, grief/loss, and low self-esteem. I obtained my Master of Science in Counselor Education Degree from the CACREP accredited University of Louisiana at Lafayette and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) registered with the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselor’s Board of Examiners.
