My journey as a therapist started in high school when I took my first psychology class. Learning about how people think and act fascinated me. In college, I studied Counseling Psychology, and I loved helping people overcome their problems and grow. Now, I specialize in Marriage and Family Therapy, which I find very fulfilling. Seeing people make real progress and positive changes in their lives reminds me why therapy is so important. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 17 years of experience in the mental health field. I am certified in EMDR and trained in Flash Technique. In addition, I am certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), certified in Parent-Child CARE (PC CARE), Teacher-Child Interaction Therapy (TCIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Insomnia (CBT-I). I specialize in treating adults and children with a history of trauma, loss and grief, anxiety, and depression. My passion is to assist those in need and to provide the necessary tools for a healthier state of mind and well-being.
