Marina Cline, MA, LCMHC, PMH-C She/her/hers Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Perinatal Mental Health Certified I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in perinatal, postpartum mood, and anxiety disorder. I work with women and families who are struggling with adjusting to motherhood/parenthood, trauma, mood disorders, suicidal ideation, identity formation, and life transitions. I thrive to create a safe and supportive space for clients to address concerns, express feelings and thoughts about motherhood and parenthood that might feel scary or otherwise ashamed to talk about. Through a collaborative approach and evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solutions-Focused, Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), I help clients come up with tools to help them navigate difficult moments and adjust to their new life. I work from a multicultural, anti-oppressive, and social justice lens to understand the uniqueness and shared identities of each client. My therapeutic style is one of respect, empathy, compassion, humor, curiosity, acceptance, and understanding. Within the therapeutic relationship, I seek to gain an understanding of each client’s life by asking questions about their experiences, perceptions, and expectations.
